How soon must departments submit the paperwork to your office?
- For H-1B applications, department should submit a complete request package to ISSO at least four months prior to the proposed start date. ISSO’s current processing time is four to eight weeks, however, this is heavily dependent on the U.S. Department of Labor’s processing time and is subject to change.
- For J-1 applications, please submit the request four months prior to the proposed start date.
