Elkhorn Slough Kayak Trip

Saturday, August 22, 2015 - 2:15pm to Sunday, August 23, 2015 - 1:00am
Moss Landing
CA (meet at Rutter Center for departure)

The ISSO has arranged a bus trip to Monterey Bay’s Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Nature Reserve. Once there, you will kayak through Elkhorn Slough, a wildlife reserve for seals, sea lions, fish, bird and sea otters. Elkhorn Slough is most famously known for its California sea otters who are released there by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This is a great trip if you love wildlife and want a little adventure. You don’t need to know how to paddle a kayak but you should be comfortable around the water. Bring lunch, water and snacks. This event requires 20 attendees. Questions? Contact [email protected]. Cost: $85 (includes transportation, kayak and gear).

*Register in person with exact cash by Wednesday, August 12 by 4 p.m.
