Rescinded: SEVP Policy Modifications for Fall 2020 Online Courses

On July 14, the US Department of Homeland Security agreed to rescind the policy directive that would have required at least some in-person university coursework in order to remain in the US. Instead, the March 9, 2020 policy directive and the addendum issued on March 13, 2020 will serve in its place. The March 9 and March 13 guidance allows students to remain in the US if instruction is entirely online. No further action is needed from students to continue their studies, unless there is a change to the student's program not previously reported (i.e. change in funding, change in program end date, etc).
