On December 28, 2023, the USCIS announced that premium processing (PP) fees for the Form I-129 will increase from $2,500 to $2,805. The change primarily impacts UCSF's employment-based H-1B population.
Action
H-1B visa requests (requiring premium processing) submitted in PCMA on or after January 3, 2024 will be subject to the new premium processing fee of $2,805. This will ensure that HR and ISSO submit H-1B petitions with the correct USCIS premium processing fee.
If ISSO has already received a premium processing fee check with the current fee and the increased premium processing fee is required, ISSO will reach out to campus stakeholders to request the increased fee.
